After a bit of a breather post the festival in December 2014, UnBox got back into action with a PopUp event in London at the Institute of Contemporary Arts. With the support of the Arts and Humanities Research Council UK, UnBox brought together friends and partners in the UK. At a closed roundtable, AHRC and UnBox invited selected partners to discuss collaborative opportunities in the emerging cultural landscape of India. Diverse individuals and institutions came together for the discussions, moderated by UnBox advisor John Thackara and reaffirmed our belief in continuing to explore the vast landscape of multidisciplinary possibilities between the UK and India. Following this, a public showcase brought together several projects incubated at the UnBox Fellowships 2013 and the UnBox LABS 2014. This was followed by open discussions and conversations. The evening wound up in true UnBox style with food, drink and a showcase from BLOT!, of some of their recent projects, including the Medicine Corner.
