Working at Quicksand

The Quicksand office structure is likely different from what you're used to. We are a collection of professionals with diverse backgrounds that are united by an ideology, not an industry. We are passionate about applying user-centered design research to improve people's lives.

There will be times in which you are asked to take on responsibilities that may fall outside of those specified in the job description. We all pitch in whenever and wherever needed and collectively understand and embrace this. You will have the freedom to explore, create, and push-the-envelope, but with that freedom comes the understanding that whatever is needed to be done for a project will be done irrespective of who is asked to do it.

This loosely-defined nature of our operations is as much appealing as it can be frustrating. You must be willing to suspend your previously experienced notions of corporate structure and embrace a new and, at times, challenging ethos to be successful here. We expect to learn as much from you as you will learn from us.
